Morphosis

Morphosis is an organic tunnel made from bamboo and light mikados, designed to offer visitors a gentle and immersive experience where light and material meet. Created for the Geneva Lux Festival, this  installation invites the public to take a quiet journey through a unique illuminated space. As visitors walk through the tunnel, they are drawn forward, guided by the light that evolves along the way. The structure, shaped like an organic spiral, blends naturally into its surroundings, gently lighting up the trees and the path it crosses.

Morphosis is powered by a generative sequence created in TouchDesigner, which dynamically controls the lighting in real time. The installation operates across 133 DMX universes of LEDs, allowing for a fluid interplay of light and shadows that evolves constantly.

The project is a collaboration between Structurals and Cie MoSo, combining simple materials and advanced technology to create a space where light, smoke, and reflections interact harmoniously with their surroundings.
